Everyone demands to know what happened, Noi says he made a friend, because that’s a human thing to do, and Ava realizes this demon who knows very little about humans has more game than her.Īva turns in for the night, Asch and Rhys grill Noi about the specifics of what happened, and a few days later agree to have Noi continue exchanging information with this human “friend”, but with Rhys accompanying him just to be sure. It’s Noi, with some fast food and knowledge about humans to pacify his worried prince and friends. So Ava works herself up trying to find Noi, while the others decide Noi is beyond their help and must be dead.Īnd then there’s a knock at the door. Because Jake, feeling like a creep sitting around in Ava’s apartment while she’s not here, leaves, and Noi, wanting to know more, follows. They start trading information about their respective cultures, Noi accidentally spills the whole thing about the Magic Crisis and Jake ends up confessing his crush.Įventually, the others return after a day of shenanigans to find an empty apartment, Noi nowhere to be found. Jake demands to know what the demons have been doing to Ava, Noi pulls out his daggers in what he believes is self-defense, mistakes are made and eventually the two agree to talk things out peacefully. Things are awkward, but then get confrontational real fast. Noi, who’s surprised and a little bit frightened to see the “human lord” in the apartment again. Noi, who’s magic is too low to hide his horns, and had to stay behind while everyone else went out. Inside, sitting on the couch trying to learn from the TV, is Noi.
But Jake can still hear something moving inside, so he gathers his courage and goes in. I want for him to knock on the door, except nobody answers because they’re all out. I really want Jake, after mulling it over, deciding to go confront Ava about the demons he knows he saw. I really want this to happen in My Inner Demons.
